How Posty5 Uses Google Services

Posty5 uses Google services in three separate and independent features. Each one is optional, and each one is connected on its own:

• Sign in with Google
• Publish Videos to YouTube
• Send Form Submissions to Google Sheets

Connecting one of these features never enables the others. Posty5 requests access to a Google service only at the moment you choose to use the feature that needs it.

Sign in with Google

You can create a Posty5 account or sign in to an existing one using your Google account, instead of creating and remembering a separate password.

For this feature Posty5 uses only the basic identity information needed to register and sign you in, such as your name, email address, and basic account information. Signing in with Google does not give Posty5 access to your YouTube channel or your Google Sheets.

Publish Videos to YouTube

With Posty5 Social Publisher you can connect your own YouTube channel, choose a video, prepare its details, and publish it to the channel you connected. This is why Posty5 asks for YouTube permissions. Within this feature you can:

• Connect a YouTube channel
• Upload videos selected by the user
• Set video titles and descriptions
• Upload thumbnails
• Configure publishing options
• Track publishing status

Posty5 only uploads videos that you select, to the channel that you connected, at the time you ask it to publish.

Send Form Submissions to Google Sheets

If you use Posty5 HTML Hosting, you can optionally connect Google Sheets and save the form submissions received from your hosted pages into a spreadsheet that you choose. This is why Posty5 asks for Google Sheets permissions. Within this feature you can:

• Connect Google Sheets
• Save form submissions as spreadsheet rows
• Organize submitted form data

Posty5 writes only the form submissions collected by your own hosted pages, and only to the spreadsheet you selected.

You Choose Which Google Features to Connect

Google integrations in Posty5 are optional and independent of each other. You grant access only when you choose to use the feature that relies on it, and Posty5 requests the minimum access needed for that task.

• Signing in with Google does not automatically connect YouTube or Google Sheets.
• Each integration is connected separately, when you choose to use that feature.
• You can use Posty5 without connecting any Google service at all.

You Stay in Control

You are the one who starts every connection, and you can end it whenever you no longer need it.

• Posty5 does not connect additional Google services automatically.
• Users initiate each connection themselves.
• Users can disconnect integrations they no longer want to use.

How We Handle Google User Data

Google user data is accessed and used only to provide the Google-connected features requested by the user. Posty5 does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not sell it.

Google shows you exactly which permissions are requested before you approve, and you can revoke that access at any time from your Google Account.
